As of September 2022, universal free meals is no longer available to students. For students to receive free or reduced meals, their families need to have a meals application submitted and approved.

Completing an application takes less than 10 minutes and application information remains private and confidential. Only one application per household is needed.Applications are available here or from MSD Food Service Director,Meg Diltz.

Filling out School Meal Applications helps provide:

• funding for after school programs
• funding for tutoring and extra help
• access to free/reduced-prices meals in the next school year
• funding for technology
• free college applications and admission tests
• funding for additional classroom resources for teachers and students
